Professional Summary
As a certified coach and consultant and trained bilingual community and place-based research-practitioner, Soribel has been committed to evolving knowledge, skills, and strategies to transform systemic barriers to promote equity and belonging beyond inclusion and diversity. Her background focuses on fostering and sustaining thought partnerships and strategizing using diversity, justice and belonging for transformational leadership and organizational systems and culture. She has conducted and facilitated literature reviews, surveys, focus groups, and interviews and effectively communicates evaluation findings to a variety of cross-sector audiences. Her national and international work reminds of intersectionality that amplifies the ways identities interconnect to influence each person’s diverse experiences. Her co-edited book (Re)Building Bi/Multilingual Leaders for Socially Just Communities has been noted in TC Records Review and used across the nation as a course text.

With over 20 years of cross-sector experiences, she has partnered with leaders and organizational teams to authentically assess and facilitate training and team building solutions. Throughout her career, she consulted on initiatives focused on assessment focused on equity-driven purposes and inclusion within private, higher education, private, public and non-profit sectors globally.

She is a Certified Team Building Coach through the Yale School of Management, Certified Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Coach through the University of South Florida’s Muma School of Business. She has a doctorate in Public Administration from Rutgers University School of Public Affairs and Administration.
